Bid My Ride Driver app for iPhone and iPad

This application will allow Drivers working for Bid My Ride, to receive bids from Clients who use the Bid My Ride Client App, and those who submit bids on the Bid My Ride website. It also lets Drivers get directions and request precise coordinates from Clients. It features real-time GPS location*, a Ride Meter which can calculate distance and travel time information, and the ability to add your rides to an events calendar.

Once the information is submitted, the bid will be dispatched to all the current drivers in the city. The drivers will respond with their best bid, the lowest bid will be awarded to the driver, the contact information will be sent to both the Driver and the Client. All of this happens within just a few minutes to allow for the quickest pickup time that is possible. Drivers will be available 24/7, for all your transportation needs.

Drivers will receive notifications when a Client submits his Bid for Transportation, along with the amount the Client wants to pay. Drivers will then send the lowest bid amounts that they will accept. The Driver will be notified if his bid has been Awarded, and the Client Contact information will be sent to the Driver. The Drivers Contact information will also be emailed to the Client at that time.

The application shows the Latest Bids, and any Bids that have been awarded to that Driver. The Driver can perform keyword filter search on bids.

This application requires a password provided by Bid My Ride to its drivers.

*Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life
